`1. On Friday, we joined in for part of Emilee’s long run/workout. 2-mile warm-up, 7:35, 7:08, 6:37, 7:17 (this is where Jess and I flipped back to the car, but they kept chopping down the paces). 13 miles total at 7:47 pace, which is my longest run (I think) since the marathon.
2. And on Saturday, I was having a very hard time getting out the door because it was 16°F, but then Emilee texted, and I got out the door to go.

3. We have spots all over town where we ditch layers along the way. I want to start the run warm and cuddly, but two miles in, and I’m ready to ditch it all.

4. We took Andrew to the Swedish candy store (Swedish Moose Candy Co), and it was delicious.

5. I have a new book for my purse. Anyone want to read it at the same time?

6. We got another run open at our ski resort over the weekend which we were thrilled about because it offers our favorite view.

8. We were very into puzzles over the weekend and finished two.

9. I take hide-and-seek very seriously. It was so hard to get out from under the train table.

10. These loaded chicken fajita sweet potatoes were beyond good.

11. Indoor soccer games have begun, and Brooke’s team won their first game.

12. We started giving Beretta (she will be 14 in just 2 weeks!) a glucosamine supplement, and we swear it is helping her so much… She is back to wanting to go on long walks again and walking smoothly.

13. The hot tub happened.

14. I’m excited to have some trail plans lined up… I’ll be pacing my friend, Austin, for 20 miles of his 100 miler. This will either inspire me to do one or really prove that I will never do this to myself.
