We are so grateful to finally get our snow, but I must say, it sure is hard to run on. I almost slipped a dozen times.
It is pretty.
We were home for a total of 11 hours before leaving again.
Brooke’s team (Andrew coaches) has a soccer tournament over the next few days, so we jumped in the car and headed south. It was a tease to sleep in my own bed for just one night before leaving again, but so worth it for these games.
We all went to dinner afterward.
Viva Chicken has my heart.
A bunch of families on the team are all staying together in a big house, so I’ll be surprised if any of us sleep.
I have to share a photo that Heidi sent to me from her climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. She did this with her daughter, and this photo is from 5.5 hours into the hike. I MUST DO THIS SOMEDAY.

*I read Dear Debbie and Between Sisters while in Kauai. Dear Debbie was such a fast read for me because it hooked me in right away, and I had to know the ending. It is now my new favorite from Freida McFadden. I also enjoyed Between Sisters, but it wasn’t my favorite from Kristin Hannah. Both were great, but Dear Debbie was such a fun read (which I feel weird saying, given the book’s topic: revenge with some very crazy behavior).

*I will forever bring this polaroid camera with us for trips. I’m putting these pics everywhere… wallets, the car, the kid’s rooms, our room. I just love them.
