I am so glad we decided to postpone the speed workout from Monday to Tuesday instead. Most of the time, I try to power through the workout even if the conditions are off, and sometimes I decide to get a good night’s sleep and try it again the next day because I’m not feeling it at all. So, remember, if you are ever feeling like it’s really not the day for a workout, I’m here to tell you: You know, you can just try again tomorrow.
We did 2 miles @ 6:17 average (6:14, 6:20) right into a headwind the entire time. I would love to run this pace or faster for my 10k in June.

9.88 miles on the roads + .12 miles running in circles around our cars because that would just be silly to end at 9.88 miles. Way sillier than getting dizzy from small loops.

Maybe one day I can put my socks on the right way.

I am so motivated to be my strongest and healthiest yet in my 40’s. Workout six (glutes and hamstrings) of the Iron Pro on the CGX app is complete. I have found the program that is making me LOVE strength training.

Speaking of going into my 40’s, this episode had some great points… I think life gets better and better with each year and want to fight against the idea that it doesn’t…

Do you think these two look alike at all? I sure think they do.

There is always a soccer ball within 5 ft of this girl.

While we were out on our walk, I saw a Student Driver and had so many memories from my Driver’s Ed days come back. The school I worked at had me use a car for Driver’s Ed that didn’t have a brake on the passenger side, unlike a normal driver’s ed car. I was so young at the time, but now I look back and thank my lucky stars that nothing bad ever happened. I remember feeling so much safer once we had a brake installed on the passenger side and used it probably a hundred times.

Marketing gets me every time, and the Bloom marketing department hooked me in… I’ve switched from my beloved Alani to Bloom because the bottle tells me it has prebiotics and natural energy. It even tells me it will support my mood;)

The holiday SPK marketing got me, too. I haven’t tried them yet, but I will report back once I do.

The day went south FAST with a few life things, and Andrew told me to get in the car, and he would take me to my current favorite restaurant because food is one of my biggest love languages.

He knew that this salmon bowl from Aubergine would get me back to homeostasis. And it did. Followed by some See’s Scotchmallows.

Does any food marketing get you?
Does anyone else have a previous job that, now looking back, doesn’t seem super safe?
Listened to anything good lately? Please share.
Do you ever end on a random number or run in circles until you get to exactly what you want on your watch?
-It’s amazing how something that weighs 83 grams can dictate so much in my life.
