(vest puffer, shirt, shoes, sunglasses)
I can’t think of a better way to kick off a new month of runs than starting it in this canyon.

Running by the above waterfall at this time of year without feeling like I’m going to freeze to death is NOT the norm. Frozen eyelashes are the norm (flashback to a run with Josse in 2016):

And another one from 2019 with Josse… We ran in some crazy conditions together over the years.

Okay, back to our day… The cable-knit sweater and puffer all in one (it’s reversible, so it counts as two vests and it’s on sale which means it’s basically free;)-> Janae math) arrived and I absolutely love it. One side for running, the other side for real life.

75% of us on our run yesterday were wearing these beauties… They sure add a lot of life to each step, which is what I need on a Monday morning.

Day #10 on the CGX app for chest, shoulders, and triceps… I was dead at the end.

It was a library kind of day for me and Beck.

And then we went up north with the kids and a few of Brooke’s friends… We stopped at Zao’s because we love their free kid meals on Monday nights thing.

And then to a Mammoth game!

This girl loves the Mammoths.

We even made it on the jumbotron which was a life goal for Skye.

Now to jump into today’s tangents:
*One of Brooke’s friends taught me to add a york to my hot chocolate and it changed my life.

*I finished listening to The Many Lives of Mama Love… It was impossible not to feel deeply for her as she talked about her experiences with addiction, motherhood, and her healing. It’s heavy in parts, but also full of hope. It was such a powerful reminder that people are not defined by their worst chapters of their stories.

*On our way to the game we crossed the street where my first marathon ended (Salt Lake City!). I remember so clearly thinking at this spot that I was NEVER going to do another marathon again…

*Amen.

*Add in some yoga by a fire to the list:

*Sometimes, all I really need in life is a pb and J on Grandma Sycamore’s white bread (<- if you haven’t had this brand of bread, I need to send you a loaf), eaten sitting on the bumper of my car.
