(long-sleeve, shorts, shoes)
My legs were quite sore after the track and leg day on Tuesday, but with each easy mile yesterday, they felt better. Enter a few of the phrases my kids are annoyed by because I say them way too often: Motion is lotion; movement is medicine; stillness stiffens; move to soothe; shake to wake; flow to glow. I could go on and on with these.
Movement makes everything better.

Biceps, back, and abs day while watching TV. If I’m lifting while watching, then I justify watching reality tv shows that are probably wrecking my brain;)

Skye had an exciting day at school. Her favorite BYU football players came and read to her class. She brought her helmet there for them to sign.

The joy a cereal party at the counter brought them after school…

The church parking lot near us is empty most weekdays, and Beretta loves to run there. She is 14 years old and still pretty quick.

Short sleeves in February?!

This. Bowl. Was. So. Good. I roasted carrots, sweet potatoes, and beets, and cooked barley (barley > rice in my opinion). I added the barley and veggies together with a bit of oil and balsamic vinegar, along with feta, pumpkin seeds, and avocado. I’ll be eating this on repeat for a while.

And a spray tan to finish the day off.

Here is your reminder to try the milk chocolate scotchmallows at See’s Candies in case they steal this joy away from us eventually…
