Andrew came with me for 8 miles, and Beck was looking so peaceful when we got home.

During my strength workout on the CGX app(still being consistent!), I was listening to the Nobody Asked Us podcast with Des and Kara. Des talked about starting to run with a weighted vest (8 lbs so far)! Kara talked about how she did too during training for her first marathon. I cannot even imagine doing this… but I’m intrigued. I know Des will be wearing a hydration vest for her ultras, so she is prepping for that, but I’m intrigued by the idea of it for training. I probably won’t try it because I don’t want to get injured, but imagine how fast you’d feel on race day after training with an extra 8 lbs. Those first runs after having a baby always felt like I was flying after no longer toting a baby around with me on a run;)

I love the days when he holds my hand with both of his hands.

We got to see my parents for a bit.

Thankfully, Andrew and I answered the same thing on the Love-O-Meter that we came across.

We’ve been friends since we were in the 7th grade, and it was her birthday party over the weekend.

Her husband put together her birthday treats, and they were so fun. She is incredible at crossfit and the snacks fit her love perfectly.

A friend brought these over on Sunday, and since we are leaving very soon, I took it upon myself to eat as much of them as possible so they don’t go to waste.

My sister’s fruit trees have started to bud, and her pickleball court is ready for us to play, so we did that on Sunday.

And soaked in the sun.

Andrew got done with work just in time for the Super Bowl.

And dinner was a pitta with grilled chicken, sauteed peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, greens, avocado, and this tahini dressing. IT WAS AMAZING.
