Did I tell you about… + Thoughts!

(shoes, tank)

Skye and I wanted to have matching braids.

I did an 8-mile run followed by glutes and abs. We don’t have a home gym, so I’ve tried all sorts of different spaces for my strength training, and the front room is officially the winner. It is the easiest place to store/hide the weights, it’s always clean in there (so, I’m not thinking about how I need to clean while lifting;), the lighting is great, and I’ve got plenty of space for what I’m doing.

I mean, the front room will never compare to my gym I had set up on my apartment balcony 13 years ago;) But it will do for now. Someday I will have a home gym, but that day probably won’t be for 30 years.

Andrew got out for a ride (I asked for a selfie, he’s not one to take a daily selfie like me;). Tangent, but did I tell you about how Andrew meant to send some pictures of the kids to my mom’s digital frame and ended up sending his entire phone photo album instead? My mom was a little confused, but thought Andrew just wanted his selfies, pics with his friends/family to pop up often in her kitchen throughout the day.

It was a dentist kind of a day.

Beck loves it when he is the only kid who gets to come on errands with us.

Guess who is finishing up his last two classes for his Master’s and will graduate THIS month?!

The afternoon involved the orthodontist, soccer practice, swim lessons, and football practice.

And a fancy dinner because I’ve decided that on the weeks that we don’t have Knox for the weekend, I want a nicer dinner midweek when everyone is there together. It used to be hard to get everyone to sit at the table for 3 minutes for dinner, and now they want to sit and chat for a while.

Just a few thoughts to end today:

*Did anyone else have one of these? One of our kids has to get this, and it brought back all of my memories of having one of these.

*WHAT?!? Only 1%! I’m so sorry if you applied and didn’t get in!

*I’m a big fan of being subscribed to Nice News, and yesterday’s article was about how American Girl Dolls turned 40! My Samantha doll was everything to me as a little girl. I took her everywhere, read every book, and memorized the catalogues as I figured out what accessory I would ask for for my birthday.

Who else had an American Girl doll obsession? Or was there something else for you?

Have a home gym setup? Give me the details to live through you;)

Anyone else in school right now? If you were to go back to school, what would you study?

Did anyone else have an expander?
