The kids didn’t have school yesterday and so I went out with my friends a bit earlier than normal for 9 miles @ 8:03 pace.
We did see a tiny bit of blue sky at the very end:

Skye called me from Andrew’s phone while I was out to ask to go on a run together when I got home and that made for the best Monday I’ve had. 1 mile with Skye @ 10:28. She is a chatter while running which she inherited from me.

Andrew was doing yard work and snapped this. I’m going to frame it.

I’ve been putting more and more miles into the Saucony Rides and I can’t get over how lightweight and responsive they feel. I’m honestly going to buy a few of them this week because I love them so much that I am stressed the future versions might change. I don’t want these to ever change. They are perfect to me.

He’s working on the final paper of his schooling journey! He is so so so close to graduating.

*More subliminal messaging from Skye attempting to convince us to go to Alaska. Before we know it, she will start a GoFundMe to fund her trip to Alaska. She is currently saving up for her own plane ticket.

*She loves butter so much that she can eat it plain.

*I hadn’t seen these beauties in years! I was so happy to get a box of Samoas (I can’t change their name in my head).

*I’m having some running things I need to get off my chest… Every now and then, I think about chasing new running PRs. But then, I remember how much work it took to get those times, and I’m not sure I have that in me right now. But then, I get excited thinking about all of the Masters PRs I can set. So, maybe that will be fun to focus on and set (and how fun to start with a fresh new slate of goals). Life is also feeling pretty crazy with some new things going on, so maybe I’ll just keep running for fun and lifting. Anyways, someone make up my mind for me, because it keeps changing every day.
