I really appreciate your comments yesterday and reread them… a few times. It’s amazing how helpful it is to know you aren’t alone. We’ve got each other through this all!
Time to catch up on life! Max and I got out on the trails over the weekend. It’s amazing how easy he makes trails look. Whenever we are going uphill, I slow down considerably, which makes Max concerned for my overall well-being, and he stares up at me the entire uphill, making sure I am okay.

I got out with the girls for yesterday’s run. We actually had a really scary experience up the canyon with a woman coming at us and yelling very strange things while spraying some sort of liquid… I was very grateful not to be alone during that experience.

Now for this week’s round of tangents:
*We spend a lot of time on the front porch, and Beck and Skye requested rocking chairs just their size. It’s pretty adorable.

*This is what Andrew and I are currently reading to each other at night:

*On Sunday, we played street hockey for HOURS with multiple different groups of people. Andrew doesn’t go any easier on his opponents, even if he is 5x their age;). He woke up so sore, it was pretty hilarious, but his team won every game, so he said it was all worth it.

*I guess we aren’t quite out of the baby phase yet;)

*This homemade waffle recipe is superb.

*The trees are sure beautiful right now, but many of them smell horrible;).

*Andrew and I got out for date night at my favorite, Black Sheep. I would eat these tacos every day if I could.

*And then we ate Rockwell ice cream on the curb. Afterward, we found a chessboard in a store, and while he beats me in every sport, I beat him in chess every time.

*And a hello from Beretta. She is obsessed with this bone and tries to bring it inside;)
