It feels really nice to have a drive for speed again (the beautiful weather is really helping). Andrew joined me on his bike, and after a 3-mile warm-up, I did a 2-mile segment I’ve probably done a hundred times. It. Hurt. So. Bad. The first mile of the segment is downhill, then the second is uphill, then flat. I was humbled each time I looked at my watch because my effort had me thinking I was running 4-minute miles.
I am determined to get closer to my personal record again (and maybe even set a new one?!), and really, everything is a win when the goal is to experience.

The end of those two miles at a 6:09 average. I was seeing stars.

And then I jogged a half-mile to do one more mile of speed (half flat, half downhill).
I was definitely stalling for as long as I could before starting the last interval… 5:45!

A pb and chocolate protein shake happens every single day for me. Once you start this powder, you can’t stop.

A few families we know are still here during spring break, so we’ve been meeting up for all the things.

We went and saw Project Hail Mary after the park. I couldn’t believe how good it was. I even stayed awake!

We found a movie theater that is half off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so we will be going to the movies more often.
Andrew, when we all had to use the restroom afterward ;).

Soccer practices have started up for Skye.

I sneezed a total of 80 times yesterday. HELP! What do you do for allergies?? (Warning: The picture below this one is from my scary allergic reaction)

Does anybody remember when I had this reaction to pollen on a trail run a few years ago? I’ve been bringing my inhaler and an antihistamine with me on the trails during allergy season ever since. I thought I was going to die out there because it felt like my throat was closing off.

Did you see what Clare Elms did? Incredible.
