Decompressing. It has started again. Oh, how I wish.

(shorts, tank, bra that I adore, and is such a killer price right now)

I saw someone on the internet making cinnamon rolls on a waffle iron, and I knew my girls would go crazy for it, so that is what we had for breakfast yesterday, with some eggs.

Thank you, internet, for bringing me someone else’s brilliant idea into my life.

And then I was off for 8 miles @ 8:23 pace with friends. Jenisy’s yellow tank–> I had to take a picture and share it because it is the perfect shade of yellow.

The kid’s cross-country program that I coach has started up again. Beck ran in Crocs much better than I ever could have.

A lot of the same kids come each year and it’s so fun to get to see them falling in love with running.

The motivation these beads bring them is quite impressive. I need to start giving these beads to my running friends at the end of our runs for motivation. I have all of the details in this post about the program!

Skye then had soccer practice and Brooke and one of her friends led the practice. It was so fun to see Brooke in action coaching.

A friend of mine told me that our April has been colder than our February and I couldn’t agree more.

Dinner was all via Trader Joe’s and it was delicious. Please try their mozzarella balls and bruschetta sauce… I could eat both plain, they are that good.

Andrew was stuck at work so it was just me and the kids. Although, I really underestimated on how much food we needed and we were still hungry and finished up a bunch of leftovers, too.

This seasoning is delicious on salmon.

And then I sat in my bed with this mask on (thank you Currentbody for the gift!) in complete silence and decompressed from a day that felt too crazy… I am positive that this time of year is even busier than December.

For those of you with Boston coming up in a few days, HERE is my post with all of my tips, splits, elevation loss/gain per mile, and recaps.

Below is one of my top 5 memories ever–> finally getting my sub-3 at Boston which I had dreamed about doing for a decade. Oh, how I wish I could relive this moment! I need to get back there and do it again.
