A Holiday Dessert You Need + CYBER MONDAY SALES ON MY FAVORITE THINGS/Gift Guide + Weekending

(vest)

My Friday and Saturday miles were filled with Andrew either running or biking with me and Brooke running with me (two days in a row!). She is very motivated for soccer tryouts in the spring and I’m loving it.

On Saturday, I had my first day of forgetting that anything even happened to the roof of my mouth. If anyone has to get a gum graft in the future, that was 16 days post-surgery. It’s amazing how I am now walking around thankful for the roof of my mouth when that is something that never made my gratitude list in the past;)

It was the final home BYU football game and they won! We also had our neice for the week and it was her first football game ever so that was exciting.

This buddy got a Nutella crepe there so he had zero complaints.

Not a bad view for a game.

After the game, we had a Thanksgiving get-together with everyone that could make it from my side of the family.

Creamy Tortellini Soup, Loaded Baked Potato soup and Kneader’s rolls (thanks to my mom) for dinner:

For dessert, I made one of my favorite things-> An Oreo crust (Oreo + melted butter), hot fudge, peppermint ice cream, and whipped cream. Make sure to freeze each layer for about 10 minutes before adding the next layer to make it easier to assemble.

We also combined it into a birthday celebration.

I loved this scene.

And on Sunday, we got snow!
