-Andrew and I did 10 trail miles on Saturday. It was one of those runs where I felt like I was flying, but when I would predict the pace I was running, then look at my watch, I would realize that I was running 1-2 minutes slower than I thought;). But it was so much fun to get to talk just the two of us for 10 miles.

-This was absolutely delicious. Brooke started having Greek yogurt bowls every day, so I started having them every day. Trader Joe’s almond butter on top provides the perfect saltiness with all of the fruit.

-I’ve really taken over the front room, and it’s slowly turning into a home gym… I brought the bar in now. At this point, we just need to fully transfer it to a home gym.

-You know things are getting more serious with your training when you bring all the recovery tools back out of retirement ;). I love this one because I can use it while watching a movie with minimal effort. To go along with this photo… Why do I enjoy watching people climb the most ridiculously dangerous mountain walls?

-We realized we forgot to cook any rice for a meal that required rice (10 people were about to eat!) as we were taking all of the meal over to the table… our local Thai restaurant saved me and had rice ready for me to take home asap.

-Pokémon are important commodities at our house.

-For Mother’s Day, I really just needed a hike with the crew.

-We hiked to the Alien Tower in Draper. From the top, you could see both Salt Lake County and Utah County.

-The swing at the top was a huge hit.

-3 miles round trip and VERY kid-friendly.

-We have decided that we will hold a hike club every Sunday now.

-I included the wrong links to my favorite face spray last week… I am SO so sorry! You can get the travel one HERE and the normal-sized spray HERE. I use it after every run or workout to prevent sweat-induced breakouts and calm redness, and it currently lives in my purse. It’s so so good and quite refreshing. I’m going to start giving it to my running friends for gifts.

*I also have a code for aerie lovers–> SHOPMY20 to get 20% off (it is a stackable code, too). It works with swimwear and activewear, too! This tank, this sports bra (pocket for your phone and another for your key), these shorts, these shorts, and Brooke’s favorite tank are among my favorites.
