Tangents + My PRIME DAY Musts!

A nice 8 miles @ 8:25 pace to start off the week and off for some speed today!

Brooke and I had our nails done while we watched the World Cup.

We love our nail girl. (We pay for Brooke’s nails in exchange for a date night each week:)

I swear it was just yesterday that Brooke and Knox were dressing up every day.

Garlic Parm Steak Pasta for din din. It was everything I wanted and more. I added extra garlic because that’s the only way I know how to cook.

*My sister sent me this picture of her, my cousin, and me circa 1996, and it made me happy.

*There is no greater sense of relief for me than when I see this screen at the end of my CGX workout. My muscles have never worked so hard as they do with this app.

*Andrew’s goal is to get a hummingbird to land on the feeder while he is holding it. It definitely hasn’t happened yet.

*Skye said to me, “When you retire, and I take over the blog, can it be about soccer instead of running?”

*I ran with a hair clip on Saturday instead of a rubber band… just to see if I could. It worked for 8 of the 10 miles.
