I officially need to start bringing my hydration vest for runs. We headed back to our cars from the trails a bit sooner than normal for some H2O.

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE HARD ON YOURSELF ABOUT THE HEAT SLOWING YOU DOWN. Summer temps affecting your paces is REAL (source). Add in humidity and wow!

I think this is the 400292 picture that I’ve taken at this exact spot, with the same view, on this trail, because it truly shocks me every time I see it.

Skye is currently obsessed with this book if anyone’s kids need a recommendation!

I can’t understand, and I won’t understand:

He is the last of my kids who wants cute matching pajama sets, and I am not ready for the day he is over them, too.

Andrew is usually at the bottom of a pile of children.

We were so excited to have everyone together so we could go see Toy Story 5! Beck was on my lap the entire time, which I greatly appreciated. It was so good.

There isn’t much better than movie theater popcorn.

I was the popsicle lady post soccer practice. If you haven’t tried these Italian Ices, you must. Jess taught me to add one to some vanilla ice cream, and it is life-changing.

If you love bowls, you need to make these Chicken Souvlaki Bowls. Mel’s Kitchen Cafe can do no wrong in my opinion.

I have been the biggest homebody this summer, which isn’t my usual self! Andrew keeps asking about where I want to go, but the answer is my backyard this summer! Anyone else feeling this way?
