I took the day off from my own run and did a shoulder workout in our living room.
But then the kids wanted to get in a mile, so I joined them… I brought a portable speaker (24% off for Prime Day), and the kids thoroughly enjoyed having music during the run.
I wonder how much longer I’ll be able to keep up with them…
We got our chores done and then had plenty of time to relax.
And this is how Beck dressed to spectate Skye’s soccer practice.
And then a random lightning storm swept through and everyone’s practices were cancelled. We headed to Chipotle to feel better about their sports being cancelled and it worked.
I have a lot of favorite things this week:
*J Crew Factory find–> This top that is 50% off and looks so cute with a darker pair of jeans. I also got this sleeveless dress in vibrant flame for Brooke (Brooke is wearing it to my nephew’s wedding), and I, and it is 59% off! They are having a huge sale right now.
*I forgot to include a picture of the tank top that I linked to on last week’s Friday Favorites, which a ton of you bought. I wear it in a medium, and I want it in the jersey denim next!
*I have gotten quite into skin care (if you haven’t noticed;). WHY I didn’t start this in my 20s is a mystery to me, but I’m happy I am doing my best now. I have fallen in love with this black tea line from Fresh–> The Age Renewal Cream + the Black Tea Bundle. The black tea complex brings with it retinol-like benefits… helping the skin look firmer and brighter without irritation. I love putting a bit of the cream on the back of my hands, too.
*The Fast and Free Split shorts are at the top of the charts for me. It’s embarrassing how often I check up on these to see if new colors have come out. I already have them in too many colors, but they are just too good. They are so lightweight, you don’t even feel them on, and the waistband doesn’t cut into me at all.
*This bra and this bra are adorable. They function well, too, but I really love how cute and different they are the most;)
*I love the color of these shorts from adidas on Amazon. I got them in a medium!
*If you are an XS, there are still a bunch of my and Brooke’s favorite tank at lululemon left for only $24!
*Renae sent me the link to these chairs on sale for Prime Day, and I immediately purchased them! 20% off right now! I’m going to be much more comfortable now for the 20 hours per week that I am on the sidelines
