I have given the Nike ACG Pegasus Trail shoes enough use now to know that I prefer the classic Nike Pegasus Trail 5s. Just in case anyone is wondering… I wish I could return my Nike Pegasus ACGs for a new pair of the Pegasus Trail 5s. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN to stick with what I love instead of trying something new. I’ll wear the ACGs until I wear them out because they still get the job done, but I’ll complain in my head as I do;). I took the Pegasus 5s out with Andrew yesterday because I didn’t want to complain, so I’m coming here to do that instead;)

We didn’t see any animals in the mountains, but we did see this guy in our front yard.

I normally go a bit longer in between getting my hair done, but I wanted a fresh cut and color for the wedding this week. The nervousness I am feeling for officiating trumps any race nerves I have ever experienced. I can type all day for people to read online, but public speaking scares me beyond belief.
ALSO, I found the most perfect dress for the wedding. I covered my eyes when I clicked purchase because it cost more than I wanted to pay, and when it arrived, there was a tiny makeup stain on the front. I tried to exchange it for a new one, but they were sold out, and I couldn’t find it anywhere else online. The company wouldn’t give me a discount on the item and said I could just exchange it for something else, but I love it so much. So, I am praying the dry cleaners can get it out… or else I need to find a flower to pin over the stain. Sorry for that tangent.

The after. Fresh hair makes me feel like a new human.

My hair gal has the most perfect curling iron. I bought it myself because I love it so much. The 1.5″ gives the perfect curl, and it’s 30% off right now here. She swears by it above all of the other curling irons she has ever used.

I also had my niece pluck and tint my eyebrows… I’m doing more for this wedding than I did for my own;)

I did a craft yesterday. Me.
My girls were on Cloud 9. I wish I could give them the gift of a crafty mom, but I’ll just find one every six months to do with them and call it good enough. We just grabbed some sweatshirts at Hobby Lobby (the mockneck ones we went for were sold out) and some iron-on badges. We are ready for Saturday.

Andrew has been dying to try the grilled onion-wrapped In-N-Out Flying Dutchman, and it was pretty remarkable, even though it isn’t pretty in the slightest.

I love the way that Max watches Brooke practice her dribbling.

Skye had a scrimmage against the boys’ team one year older than them and they held up pretty amazingly.

And of course, we finished up like this:

Any In-n-Out fans? What’s your order?
Any July birthdays, races, or anniversaries??
-TEN years for Andrew and me!
Easy craft ideas for me to do with my girls?
-The simpler, the better for me.
Public speaking your thing or no?
