The most beautiful Day.

(my dress, Brooke’s dress, Skye’s dress)

The wedding is over, and I’m feeling those ‘post-massive event you’ve been so excited for, that takes over all of your thoughts, and now it’s over’ blues.

The day started with a run, of course. 8 miles @ 8:37 pace with Andrew. I feel like nothing flushes my mind clean and melts my anxiety quite like running does. I then read over everything 500 times to Andrew.

(tank, shoes, bra, socks, shorts)

Our nephew has called Andrew every night leading up to the wedding to build up the excitement. HE LOVES any chance he gets to be with everyone together.

The entire day was nonstop family time, and I even got to meet my great-nephew for the first time!

They planned the wedding date around my niece’s return from her mission so she could be there. Either she is an amazing actress or her body doesn’t experience jet lag because she was up and going like she never missed a beat of sleep… even though she was awake for 30 hours straight on her way home.

Beck took being a ring bearer extremely seriously. I wish I had a video of it because he walked down the aisle so precisely, like a metronome.

I poured my heart and soul into what I was going to say during their ceremony. These two deserve the absolute best, and I am pretty sure I gave myself an ulcer trying to prepare the best I could.

I ended up loving officiating so much that I am now adding it to my resume. If anyone would like a wedding officiator, I am WIDE open. I don’t have one booking on my calendar anymore, so please let me do it for you;)

Beck loves love. We had to limit how many times we let him go up to Lily and Clay throughout the day because he would have followed them around the entire time.

He didn’t blink for all of the big moments like the cake cutting or their first dance.

He is always a tender soul, but the wedding just took it to the next level.

I honestly love a dance floor as much as I love running.

The venue was so beautiful. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day.

I need another wedding to go to asap.
