How we celebrated 10 years!

(tank, shorts, shoes)

I took a rest day (other than a walk with just me and Andrew), but Brooke ran 4.5 miles with her best friend! Soccer is her #1 motivator with running, but I’m sure I’ll be able to convince her to run marathons with me someday.

The kids wanted to go and practice their shooting next, and with zero World Cup games to watch, we had the time;)

ALL day, Beck would open my car door and say, “Happy Anniversary” to me.

Andrew and I decided to celebrate the day with our kids. We are off somewhere (still trying to figure that out), just the two of us soon, and so we wanted the day with them (we missed Knox!).

We went up to Salt Lake City and explored.

We live very close to the area but rarely go there.

We did a bit of shopping, too.

And then the star of the show was Ruth’s Chris. Andrew and I had gift cards here from years ago and finally redeemed them yesterday.

Brooke asked us why we made her wait 13 years to try such a perfect food establishment.

Beck told me he wants to come back again this weekend for the best mac and cheese of his life.

And Skye couldn’t believe they were bringing her ice cream as part of her kid’s meal.

Off for an adventure!

——————————————————————————————————————————

Would you rather from Skye (aka the two things she dislikes the most)–> Would you rather have your hair down for the rest of your life or wear a dress for the rest of your life?

Do you live near any big cities?

Ever been to Ruth’s Chris? Thoughts?

-Their steak would be part of my final meal.

What day do you usually take as a rest day? Or does it switch around?
