I HAVE ARRIVED.

(tankshorts)

9 miles @ 8:37 pace with some sprinkling rain in the final mile; it felt so refreshing. We did a house tour on our run where we ran by to inspect some homes for sale or ones being built in our neighborhoods… Try it out in your area; it makes the run even more fun.

And then I went straight to pick up Knox. When I stopped to get gas, he jumped out of the car and told me he would do it for me… I have arrived.

Upper body strength training afterward… my arms were jello by the end. I want to know how people are able to incorporate strength training regularly with heavy marathon training. I have never been able to truly master that balance, but strength training for my 5k/10k training this year made all of the difference on race day.

I am not going to be okay when they go back to school, and it’s back to just me and the pups for morning walks.

We love taking them to an empty church parking lot mid-walk to see how fast Max can sprint. It’s his favorite part of the day.

Welcome to another edition of Where Has My Brain Gone…

1- I got out soy sauce for us to put on top of their Kodiak Cakes. I’m very glad that Brooke noticed before I tried it.

2- I took one card into the grocery store with me to pay, and when I went to pay, I realized it was a Swig gift card. I need to get my card on my phone again.

We were keeping the foosball table in the main area just for the World Cup, but I feel like it’s a permanent piece of furniture here now…

The other three had plans with their friends, and so we got to have some time with just Skye.

And we left Sam’s Club with her absolute favorite treat. Have you tried tru fru? You must if you haven’t yet.

Knox is not mad about the fact that Andrew coaches a girls’ soccer team that are all his age and that he gets to come to every practice;)

Because even if it is July, grilled cheese dipped into tomato soup is supreme.

And early to bed because we are off to a big soccer tournament for a few days.
